how we work
Summerland Support Services works in two important ways – as a provider of NDIS-supported services such as Supported Independent Living, Everyday Support, and Domestic Support as well as being a Support Coordinator for NDIS services in the Richmond Valley and Northern Rivers region. We work to create a welcoming and nurturing environment for people with special needs.
Summerland Support can service the regions in and around Kyogle, Casino, Lismore, and Evans Head with support for people living with a disability, special needs, or loss of mobility. Our work helps improve the lives of NDIS participants and others by providing tailored support that suits their needs and balances
their desire to live independent and fulfilled lives. Our team can help support people with travel, household chores, hygiene and grooming, and life admin tasks such as paying bills or buying groceries.
In our second yet equally important capacity as ana NDIS Support Coordinator, we work with participants, carers and other allied health professionals to answer questions and suggest services as part of a participant’s overall NDIS support plan. We can talk to the government or NDIS on a participant’s behalf, provide up-to-date information, and get quotes on specialist services as well as take on the role of support provider in-house.

Whether it’s through directly assisting NDIS participants or people who need support such as younger people with special needs, the elderly, or those who have lost mobility and/or recovering from illness, we work by treating all under our care as if they were members of our own family.
The aim of Summerland Support is to get the best possible outcome for the participant and wider community under the NDIS.

Support we provide
- Everyday Support for people living with disabilities who need a bit of extra help living their day to day lives
- Supported Independent Living for participants living out of home
- Community and in home support at our locations in Kyogle, Casino, Lismore, and Evans Head, and surrounding areas.
- NDIS Support Coordination to establish and coordinate NDIS plans
- Domestic Support for people who are recovering with disabilities.
